Summary:
Sachin is a senior associate in our corporate group having significant experience in MENA and Asian markets. He advises clients on contentious and non-contentious corporate commercial matters having domestic and cross-jurisdictional elements.
Sachin's practice focuses on domestic and international arbitrations with an emphasis on corporate, commercial and real estate disputes. He acts for a variety of local and multinational corporations, sovereigns and private clients, providing pragmatic commercial and strategic legal advice on contentious issues. Sachin appears as lead counsel in ad-hoc arbitrations as well as institutional arbitration proceedings, and is well versed with rules of the BCDR-AAA; Dubai International Arbitration Centre (DIAC); the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC); the GCC Commercial Arbitration Centre (GCCAC); and the DIFC-LCIA Arbitration Centre (DIFC-LCIA).
Prior to moving to Bahrain, Sachin worked with a prominent regional law firm in United Arab Emirates and was a registered legal consultant with the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department. Additionally, he was also a registered legal practitioner at the Dubai International Financial Center (DIFC) Courts.
Sachin is a qualified advocate admitted to the Bar Council of India. He completed his bachelor's in Law from India and went on to obtain an LLM in International Commercial Laws from University College London (UCL), UK. Sachin is fluent in English, Hindi and Malayalam.
