January 2008 - US$2 Billion Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company B.S.C. (c)

Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company B.S.C. (c) was incorporated by the government of the Kingdom of Bahrain to own the government’s shares in wholly and partly owned government companies in Bahrain and other companies abroad.

Haya Rashed Al Khalifa Attorneys at Law & Legal Consultants has been retained as local legal advisors to provide advice on all legal aspects including share transfer, project finance, mergers and acquisitions. The Firm is also currently assisting Gulf Air, one of Mumtalakat’s wholly owned subsidiaries, in de-registering the aircrafts from the Sultanate of Oman and registering it with the Directorate of the Civil Aviation in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The HRAK Team is headed by Haya Al Khalifa and assisted by Hadi Al-Alawi who is on secondment at Mumtalakat.
